Side Events
The Side Events provide a collaborative platform where IWPG’s partner organizations come together under the shared value of peace to exchange their activities, experiences, and best practices. Covering diverse fields—including peace education, women’s leadership, and civil society engagement—these sessions foster dialogue, identify new opportunities for collaboration, and strengthen global partnerships for sustainable peace.

Global Peace Networking Reception
The Global Peace Networking Reception is a networking program that brings together peace leaders and partner organizations to share IWPG’s vision and key initiatives while expanding global partnerships. Through partner organization presentations, Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremonies, and thematic roundtable discussions, participants will explore opportunities for collaborative projects and international cooperation in support of sustainable peace.

Peace Academic Network Session
This session brings together faculty members, researchers, and representatives from IWPG’s partner universities to explore opportunities for collaboration in education, research, and academic exchange in the fields of women, peace, and sustainable development.

Peace Chapter Workshop
The Peace Chapter Workshop convenes IWPG Peace Committee leaders from around the world who lead community-based peace initiatives through women’s peace education, volunteer service, and cultural activities.

Main Session
The Main Session serves as a global platform where women leaders, peace practitioners, and stakeholders come together to envision a sustainable future of peace through women’s leadership, peace education, and international solidarity. It will highlight the contributions of women peacebuilders from around the world and provide opportunities to share experiences of choosing and practicing peace in everyday life and across diverse social contexts. Through these discussions, the session aims to explore future directions for women-led peace governance and strengthen collective action for sustainable peace.

Peace Tour
Participants will visit historical, cultural, and commemorative sites related to peace in the Republic of Korea, offering an opportunity to reflect on and experience the values and significance of peace through Korea’s historical and cultural heritage.

PLACE Campaign
PLACE Campaign
PLACE (Peace as Lived And Connected Experience) is IWPG’s global participatory peace archive initiative that documents and connects women’s everyday experiences and practices of peace around the world. By preserving women’s voices as valuable knowledge resources, the campaign contributes to peace education, academic research, policymaking, and the advancement of international dialogue on sustainable peace.
